Sometimes in life things don't quite go according to plan. Indeed as John Lennon said..."life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

Unexpected events, turns in the road, relationships, the way we feel, the pressure of contemporary life. Lot's of things can stop us in our tracks or make us feel as though we're muddling through or running just to stand still.

Sometimes in life...we can...

Sometimes in life...we just need to see a way through our current problems. Talking with a psychologist can really help us regain our inner strength, learn skills to gain control and see things from a new perspective.

As Registered APS Psychologists under the Government's Better Access initiative, we can provide "Focussed Psychological Strategies" for clients who have been referred with a Mental Health Care Plan through a GP. This allows up to 12 Medicare rebates for up to 12 individual sessions per calendar year. The approved psychological strategies we use to assist individuals to work with current issues and discover improved insights, strategies and performance outcomes are

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Motivational Interviewing

and

Interpersonal Therapy

We have a strong consumer ethos and understanding, and work one-on-one with individuals using a Consumer Directed Outcome Focused Approach.

Using a Preventive Psychological approach, we can help individuals further develop emotion skills and attitudes for everyday life, including:
